I was flipping through my big folder o’plants and flowers in iPhoto and came across a few I really liked this week, so that’s what you get until it warms up a wee bit more and things start blooming in the desert!
Puffs of fluff in San Diego

Fragile daisies in the backyard – and a bonus bumblebee!

Cholla (pronounced cho-ya) – meanest cactus in the desert

…but they sure do have pretty blooms…..
Hopefully, we’ll get some sun this week and I can snap some new desert growth! Happy Friday!

You know I am really amazed by your photo’s of life in the desert. I had no clue that such beauty even existed. When I think of life where you are all I think of is boring cactus’ but you have shown me the complete opposite. This east coast lifer thanks you very much. xoxoxoxo
Cliff the Mutt got part of one those cacti stuck to him in AZ once.
It was not fun getting the darn thing out. He was MUCH more cautious with his sniffing after that.
I like the big puffy purple one! It looks like a thistle and reminds me of Winnie the Pooh (Eeyore dined on thistles.)
I love the daisy with the bumblebee!
Now where is the pic of that pink house *scratches head*
BWAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!
These are gorgeous! Just what I needed to see today
It’s still crazy cold, and lacking green here.
I love the seuss-i-ness of that big fluffy purple one. It looks like a kooshie ball.
Oh, you are lucky to have desert to photograph. Seriously. Jelaous!
