Wrote a letter to Santa? With pictures so there would be no misunderstandings
Left cookies/milk for Santa & reindeer? We leave cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer on these special plates.
Caught a snowflake on your tongue? Yes. Mmmmm…crunchy!
Went caroling? Once, I hated it.
Got hurt during the winter season? I grew up on skis and had no sense of fear, what do you think?
Gone ice skating/sledding? Yes and Yes, we used to make a great track on the hill in our backyard.

Experienced/saw a miracle happen? If you believe, they will happen. Yes.
Get everything you wanted for Christmas? Yes, even the year that NOBODY could get a Cabbage Patch Kid, I got Fanya Adella (I still have her.)
Cooked/baked? Like a mad woman!
Tree is under/above 4′? Over – ours is 7 feet
Open presents Christmas Eve/Day? Both – we do presents at Mamacita’s on Christmas Eve and have Christmas morning at our house
House/entire yard is decorated? Yes and no. Behold the Santa shelves!
Amount of presents under the tree? By the time all is said and done for all relatives we see? About forty.
Snowman is a male/female? It’s unclear, ours always have sort of a “Ken” doll appearance.
Go for Santa/Jesus? It’s Jesus’ birthday, Santa is just a nice extra.
Homemade/delivered/takeout Christmas dinner? Always homemade.
Bedtime is before/after midnight? Hopefully before midnight, LW will be up early.
Wake-up is before/after 7am? LW is up early, so probably around 6:30.
Go/don’t go to church on Christmas? We will be attending Christmas Eve churchitude.
Pray & sing Happy Birthday/do nothing before bed? LW and I say prayers every night at bedtime.
Do shopping before/after Thanksgiving? A tiny bit before, most of it in one fell swoop after Thanksgiving
Low-key/over the top decorations (inside and out)? Tons and tons! Our house is full of the Holiday spirit – but not in a tacky way!

We always did cookies and milk for santa, even when I was little. With our own kids, we also left magic oats on the front stoop for the reindeer. They were always so thrilled to find them gone in the morning.

Got hurt during the winter season? Thinking about it, yes. I dismember as a kid sledding down a Godzilla monster hill. Halfway down, doin’ 150 miles an hour, Rupe hit a dip. The sled stayed … Rupe kept a’goin’. I went for years (seemed like it) on my face down the hill. Came to a stop. Stayed still. Got the courage to life my face up outta the snow. Blood everywhere. Rupe’d scraped his face off. Literally.
